Our personnel are predominantly recruited from good character ex-army, police and prisons staff and the records are vetted before emplyment. Medical examination is undertaken and fit men undergo in-service traning by Security 2000 Limited in all aspects of professional security. Those who pass oral and practical examinations are the ones who get emplyed on probation for six months and finally confirmed as permanent staff if found proficient. The cannon principle with our staff is constant supervision tht has to be undertaken. Men must report to base station first before they are issued with uniforms, instructions and weapons. The guards are deployed in company vehicles and supervisors inspect them at least twice a night depending on the station.
After training those who qualify as guards are presented with certificates and vetted by the Uganda Police Identification Bureau. The vetting exercise marks the end of our reruitment process.
We offer a market competitive salary commensurate to an individual's qualifications and experience. Allowances, periodical increments and bonus are part of our renumeration policy. As part of our emplyee welfare, we undertake insurance policies for all the employees and subscribe to the National Security Security Funds and Tax body.

Transport and Equipment
We run a fleet of vehicles that include pick up trucks, passenger vans, Cash-In-Transit vans, escort vehicles and office service cars all equipped with necessary communication equipment. Our operating radio frequency is at 151.2625 Mhz. We also have in stock electronic equipment for our clients, which can be installed on request.
Cash in Transit
Security 2000 Limited conveys cash and other valuables using bullion vans, which are bullet proof, designed for that purpose and accompanied by armed escort. We have an indemnity, which depends on the volumes and values involved. These services are particularly useful in financial institutions and clients wishing to transfer large sums of money.
Armoury
This sections handles arms and ammunition, weapon service and repairs, uniforms and our fixed assets. It is headed by a former army armourer and is fully fortified and in conformity with the regulations governing storage of arms and ammunition.
